Jointly organized by the ICOMOS-USA Emerging Professionals Committee and the ICOMOS Canada Emerging Professionals Committee, this virtual event offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts in the field.

For this episode, we are excited to welcome Monica Rhodes, a professional who is redefining cultural preservation as a global force for economic and social transformation, using history to shape more expansive and future-focused narratives. Appointed by former President Joe Biden to the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, she has led multimillion-dollar initiatives across 46 states and internationally while ensuring history remains a dynamic, living force. As the founder of Rhodes Heritage Group, a Rome Prize winner, and a Harvard Loeb Fellow, she is pioneering new frontiers in preservation by integrating technology, sustainability, and community-driven storytelling to transform the field.
